Disabled Homemaking is a place where you can find tips, tricks, and other resources to make life a little easier. Being an adult is hard. Being a spouse and a parent is even more hard. But combine having all those responsibilities with a disability, physical, mental, or both, and it can feel like an avalanche is coming down on top of you.

My name is Nicole Smith. I am a wife to a husband with a disability, a Texan, mother to two girls that both have disabilities (one an infant and the other a preteen!), a homemaker, and just like you, I have disabilities (both physical and mental).

That’s why I decided to create this site. I’m on the hunt for anything that will make life a lot easier so you can enjoy it more instead of feeling crushed by it. This is the place where you can find tips, tools, and products to help in your everyday life but most importantly, it is a place for encouragement and grace.

Please feel free to email me anytime at disabledhomemaking@gmail.com for encouragement, tips, or just to talk (I know how lonely it can get)! While you’re here please follow me on Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook. Don’t forget to subscribe to my email community where you will get the VIP treatment from me personally and exclusive freebies that are not found anywhere else. Please come back often for more awesome resources and tips to help your succeed in homemaking!
